Host was remarkably kind to start, readily accessible and offered to pick me up from the station. Warm heartedness like this was unparalleled in UK or rest of Europe in three weeks of travel. Next most beautiful aspect was the view of spectacular 58 metre tall Fire Tower (City Tower) with a lovely bell chime every hour. My temporary homely sweet abode contained all the comforts necessary for a short stay in Sopron. It was perfectly clean, smartly furnished, and with special touches. Washer complete with washing detergent there for use; iron and ironing board; plenty of coffee, milk, sugar; also chocolate/chocolate biscuit to enjoy; even a packet of cards for play. Best sleep in three weeks of travel.

Very nice, clean and quiet apartement close to the old town. If you need parking, it is not free (at daytime) in front of the house, but in a short walking distance there is a parking house and also a free street parking.

An amazing place to stay! So clean and comfortable. The owners were amazing, they picked us off and dropped us at the train station for free. Twice they were heading into town and gave us a lift, and they called to make a reservation at a winery for us. Also we got a coffee in the garden in the morning. They really went out of their way to make our stay great. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was stunning and so nicely decorated. We (Group of 6) truly loved the attention to detail. Everything was perfect. The location is great (only 5-10mins walk into the city center) and the area is peaceful and quiet. Opposite the apartment there is a nice restaurant with plenty of options, a small supermarket is 2mins walk away. The cars can simply be parked in some of the plenty available parking slots in front of the building and side streets and there are parking machines where you can buy a parking ticket (8-20h) for those you need HUF coins; alternatively you can buy it online. We loved that in every room there was a new installed AC which worked well (outside temperature during our stay ~35degrees celsius) and there is also a floor heating in case needed. The espresso machine (Nespresso compatible) was super. All the kitchen equipment was of high quality and we enjoyed it. I again want to highlight the superior quality of the overall interior of the apartment and the outstanding design, which I have very rarely experienced so far in my ‘travel career’. We highly recommend Lion Loft and we are sure that you will love it too.

    The host makes it very easy to collect the keys prior to arrival, whereas the flat is centrally located and very spacious with a creative interior design. The Deak restaurant can be found in the same building, yet there’s no noise in the apartment thanks to the thick walls. Highly recommend for a pleasant stay in Sopron.

    An extremely comfortable and immaculately clean small, modern apartment located inside what appears to have been a baroque-era palace, with the additional convenience of a large and pleasant garden adjacent. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for a short stay. The location is a comfortable 20-minute walk from Sopron station, only half the distance from the old town centre, and close to a supermarket.
