The accommodation was relatively close to the town center. It had a parking spot, was comfortable, spotlessly clean and it even had cutlery, so we managed to have dinner and breakfast there. The wooden beams are amazing, the bathroom has a great bath tub, I thought it was gorgeous.

We loved staying at Showrai-An, it was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Stunning property with beautiful traditional elements also all mod cons for our comfort. Very tastefully decorated with all amenities you could ever need. We were very close to the famous temples and fabulous restaurants. We also had the beauty of snow on our first night, a day to relax, and then sunny sunny day trip to visit Snow Monkey Park.

Fabulous place to visit to relax and enjoy the scenery. The host was very helpful and super friendly. The Vietnamese food cooked by the host was delicious and if you're lucky you might get a free dinner or two. The host was so nice she even offered to drop off my wife and pick her up at an event my wife was attending giving me time to relax at the pensions garden. Looking forward to visiting Hanoi pension again.
