The hotel was very nice,from the moment i arrived i felt at home.the location is excellent making it easy to explore at the area,five minutes to aquarium to swim with turtles and very close to the beach and supermakets .The pool is nice ,what makes this place stand out is the staff,very attentive and hardworking genuinely dedicated to make every guest stay special . A perfect place for holidays if you enjoy uncrowded beaches. Appartment offers all the comfort and a fully equipped kitchen. Adam, the estate manager supported us with anything we needed: organising transportation, delivering produce, providing information, etc. Zanzibar felt like home.

The place is located near the beach. It has a rooftop where you can view the sunset. The pool was large enough, breakfast was remarkable and the host was super friendly and reliable especially if you do not know the area too well. I loved everything about the place. Thumbs up!!

I believe everything has already been said in the previous reviews... Laucin and Ney are extremely welcoming hosts. You are indeed treated as a member of the family, and invited to have diner with them - if you like. When I was there they even organised a beach barbecue for their guests and took me out to a trendy bar for Friday night drinks. There is a good dive shop nearby. If it's a little more privacy you're after, the garden and huge swimming pool (kept very clean :-)) are a good place to relax. There are only four rooms in total, so you won't have to share them with a lot of other guests. There is a pick of restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast each morning is à la carte, so to your own taste. It can include fruits picked from the hotel's garden and coffee that is home roasted with beans from the Kilmanjaro region in Tanzania. The northeast coast of Zanzibar (Matemwe in particular) is very different from the main tourist towns like Stonetown or Nungwi. It's a quiet fishing village, where you'll see mostly see locals working and their children playing.
