I was welcomed by the friendly daughter Anelka of the owner . 2 rooms and one living room kitchen. All very clean and modern. In each room one double and one single bed very comfortable, air condition, ventilator. The bathroom is large. Hot shower. Toiletries. Large modern kitchen well equipped with induction hob, microwave, coffee filter machine and a lot of plates, glasses . One sofa in the living room. TV. Strong Wifi . They answer quickly to WhatsApp messages. The owner leaves next door. They largely deserve 10.

Beautiful property and grounds, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, clean bathroom, air conditioning (big plus for someone who sleep in cool temp), awesome swimming pool all by ourselves, warm and personable hosts (Fabiola, Markus and David are super friendly and helpful)! The location cannot be better! It is quiet, safe yet just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants and Cahuita National Park. We took the great advice from other travelers to stay in Cahuita area rather than Puerto Viejo!! There are great restaurant options in Puerto Viejo but too busy and run down for our liking. We love our stay at Plaza Tucanito where allow us to explore beautiful beaches nearby and plenty of dining options in Cahuita town. Cahuita National Park is definitely a must visit! We went in the morning and saw tons of wildlife and enjoyed the calm and beautiful Playa Blanca! We also enjoyed Playa Grande en Cahuita : )

Xinia, the host, lives separately on the property so she was there to greet my sister and I upon arrival. It was easy to get the keys for our casitas and Xinia was a gracious hostess, who showed us all we needed to know about the property and also offered her services for transportation. The casitas were comfortable and clean, and the kitchens were supplied with everything we needed. We only used the internet for use of Netflix and phones, but it was great for our needs. This property is a walkable distance outside the town of Cahuita, which made it perfect for us to be able to relax and enjoy the abundant nature around, without the noise of a town or parties. I enjoyed my morning coffee listening to the sounds of the howler monkeys that can be seen in the neighboring trees, watching and listening to keel-billed and chestnut-mandibled toucans as well as collared aracaris, seeing Montezuma Oropendolas flying about and calling their distinctive call, watching grey necked wood rails and agoutis running through the property, and enjoying the numerous other birds that the gardens of the property attract. Xinia was easy to contact when we needed her or had questions, and was exceptionally available when we asked her to provide transportation to Cahuita or neighboring towns. She speaks very good English and charged for services a very comparable fee to other providers. She also is extremely knowledgeable about the area and is very happy to share the culture and customs of this part of Costa Rica with you. Xinia owns two dogs, Lito and Gucci, who are both loving and sweet. If you are missing a pet of your own, they are wonderful companions who will appreciate your attention, but Xinia also will respect your preference if dogs aren't your "thing." She can also act as a concierge to coordinate trips and tours for you.

Simply stunning here. I had my birthday here and Marie and her colleagues were so kind and friendly, adding some lovely surprises to my day. The room is beautiful and from your bed you can see the mountains and morning mist rise from the valley. There are loads of spaces to sit and relax in the beautiful nature of the area. There is a well equipped Shala also with great views, the best place ever to do yoga. We also had a tour of the fruit forest which was I enjoyed and was really interesting. Marie can also arrange for you to have a yoga class and we had a lovely Tibetan singing bowl healing. A unique place to stay and I loved it

Babilonia is in Cahuita, also very close to the beach, few minutes walk. The place was very quiet, between threes and bushes, we even had a sloth on the three next to our place. The place was very clean, and the garbage taken out daily, towels changed every other day. The owner also lives on the property, very helpful.

The place has a relaxing, artsy vibe and feels super safe. We felt like the room was plenty big and comfortable to accommodate our group of 4. Having a pool for the kids was essential. Also, having a fully equipped and functional outdoor kitchen was excellent! We were able to easily make our own meals. All in all, super super happy!!! I would definitely stay at Cahuita Vibe again 😊
