This is an EXCELLENT place to stay as a "base camp" if you plan on visiting the historical cities nearby. There is an excellent beer garden within walking distance, nearby grocery store, nearby pizza parlor, and gas station. The owners are polite, friendly, charming. They do not speak English but speaking German was not a necessity. The apartment is very large, very clean. It is within 45 min of Coberg, Bamberg, Bayreuth, and Wurzberg. If you want to immerse in German culture, this is the place to stay.
