Very nice decorated, plenty of space, comfortable Sofa und a warming gasfire! This was great!! The kitchen is very well equipped, with everything you might need. Staying there for longer would be no problem at all. Marie is a very thoughtful host and gave a lot of Information. Thanks for that. Stornoway is a very good to stay, as all very interesting historic sites are in good reach when travelling by car.

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the sea views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. This is one of the best places where I stayed during one and half month trip in Scotland islands. You need a car to reach it. It's a bit isolated but you get so much. Ann is in charge of this flat, her husband is a fisherman (1000 creels!). She is a wonderful woman who tries to do her best for her guests. And she succeeds. Close to her house is a new single storey house (our flat). Totally new. Living room with a kitchenette and sofa. Fridge, microwave. Sleeping room with a large and very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with shower and also a bath. Toiletries. Large towels. Ann has a good sense for decoration . As it's a bit a bed and breakfast, Ann leaves A LOT of food in the fridge, everything you need for a huge breakfast. And if something is missing, she will bring it. There is a private entry but we can call Ann anytime and she will always come smiling. Large parking. To reach the long beach, you can walk 15 mn or take the car and then walk 5 mn.

The 4-star apartment features sea views and is 1.1 km from Museum Nan Eilean. When staying at the apartment, guests can use private entrance. We made our own breakfast, which was okay. Stornoway is a pleasant little Town, we really enjoyed it! Short way to go to all places of interest, shops and restaurants.

Everything about the place was amazing, the unique setting of the castle, the attention to detail was incredible and management were so responsive and welcoming. A fantastic location for exploring not only Stornoway but Lewis and Harris. The small fridge in the room was so handy for keeping snacks for day trips. The best nights sleep in the comfiest bed.

The property has an outdoor dining area. Perfect getaway in a central location on the island - easy to travel any direction to see the parts of Lewis and Harris we don’t normally get to see! Great use of a small space, it didn’t feel too tight at all, just right. Comfortable weekend, safe enclosed space for 2 dogs, tastefully decorated and lovely use of local finishings. Nice use of mood lighting too!
