Beautiful choice for this town, albeit a very steep climb from the town center. (We made ample use of the town‘s taxi services!) The apartment itself is perfect for two, and surprisingly super well equipped despite its modest appearance. I think the only thing we wished for was a cheese grater :D

Top of a very long steep hill, which is great for the views but a long tough walk back from town. Thankfully there is plenty of reasonably priced parking in Matlock close to the town centre. Two nice pubs nearby, one two mins walk away, the other 5 mins walk away. All in all, a fabulous place with lovely hosts and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone 10/10.

Eventhough I didn't cook, the kitchen literally has everything you would need. Tea/coffee, pastries and cereals for breakfast. Bus stop was a few minutes walk away. Landlady responded quickly to all my questions. Even allowed me to check out later with no extra charge.
