Ismael and his wife are pleasant hosts and were easy to communicate with. The guesthouse is cutely tucked inside a building up a gravel road. From the main road, turn onto the gravel road between Hotel Las Gardenias and La Puerta Coffee Lounge and the guesthouse is about 350 meters past. The room is quite basic, which is reasonable given the very affordable price. We enjoyed the coffee using the coffee machine both days. Good air conditioning.

Oliver is the most amazing host! He is a super fun guy, made us feel very much welcome (he even invited us to a party that he organized for his Guatemalan family! The apartment is still a bit in construction, but the price and the private beach make up for it. The apartment is not situated on Flores island, which makes it a bit inconvenient for going on tours since those all leave from the island. But we liked to be in the non-touristic part.

It was nice to be close to Flores, without being on the island itself. The room was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the facilities were great overall!

L’établissement Casa Alemán se trouve à Flores (Peten), à 35 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Parc national de Tikal. We had a lovely and warm stay. The small cottage is outside the main house and feels like being in the jungle. Basic facilities but included everything what was needed. The hosts are super chill and great to talk to. We learned a lot about the Mayan culture and coffee production since both of them are involved. Even though being sick during the stay, we got amazing support and help whenever needed. Thanks for everything, it was an unforgettable experience.
