The terrace is excellent, divided into several zones, and lighting is thoughtful. The bathroom is clean and spacious. The location is ideal, and everything is nearby. We will definitely come back here.

An Italian breakfast is available at the apartment. This was the second of the two phases I had planned for my second visit to Campania. I arrived from Napoli totally unprepared for the isolation of Sant’Angelo, but found out soon that the Neapolitan life merely takes up a more pastoral turn, but remains the same in essence. I have so many nice things to say about the place that a few lines cannot be sufficient. The room is simple but comfortable, and the balcony is one that you will wish you could own, but far above anything else the hospitality of the three sisters who own the place has added infinitely to the dolce of the stay. After selling my heart during the ecstatic days of Napoli, their homely welcome and the calming sound of the waves nursed it back to sanity—not completely, but enough so that I could begin to ruminate on the oriental quality of the trip. I mainly saw two of them, Angela and Maria, at my arrival, at breakfast, and during the day; and since I was travelling alone and always had an urge to talk, naturally I found myself interacting a lot with them. The sisters speak Italian and German, and with my beginner’s Italian and broken German we could make it work quite well. Every morning, these simple conversations started my days afresh. There is nothing pretentious or mercantile about them, and you can be friends if you want to. Really recommended for those that seek a hearty welcome and homely comfort during their holiday.

300 metres from Spiaggia della Chiaia, OraBlu Exclusive Villas is a recently renovated property situated in Ischia and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The property has sea and mountain views, and is 1.7 km from Botanical Garden La Mortella. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The location was fantastic! We had a large private yard with a view of the ocean. The sunsets on the water were stunning. Our apartment was spacious and attractive. We could walk to the beach, the supermarket and the center of Forio within minutes. Another little bonus was a vegetable garden that we could pick from. Delia and Francesco were so hospitable and helpful in every way. This was a perfect place for our family.

It was beautiful and super relaxing. The little private beach is perfect, very clean and you can find some shade until midday if you want. It is mainly sand but also some stones so we prefered to wear beach shoes. Also the sand gets hot. Our room came with some chairs for the beach and also a sun umbrella which was useful. There is a small shop nearby and the bus stop is very close. My daughter found a lot of sea glass on the beach and loved it. The apartment is beautiful but basic which was fine for us. We would return and watch the sunset again 🙂
