Clean, comfortable, and right in downtown. Strong water pressure. Maher is super nice. We had to leave the apartment at midnight to catch the flight. He made sure we were picked up. If I could rate Simple House above 10 stars, I would. The property and location are beautiful, but the hospitality of the host family is what made our stay memorable. We were very tired when we arrived after a long day of travel. Knowing this, Mom offered us dinner, followed by tea and dessert with the family in their garden, which included picking and eating passion fruit from their trellis. The evening ended with one of their daughters doing a beautiful henna tattoo on my wife’s hand. We left feeling rested, knowing we had experienced an unforgettable stay that we will never forget.

The family host were all very kind, brought us Turkish coffee, sweets and water on arrival. Arrival time was flexible and they helped us finding good spots in Madaba to eat, relax and enjoy the day. You have a good view from the appartment, it's quiet during the night and close by the city.

Everything was well kept and organized. The host provided us with some foods which really helped to have something to eat first thing in the morning. This was our initial introduction to Jordan and we hadn't figured out what to buy. The location is within walking distance to the old city and we walked around a lot to see all the archaeological sites and shops. We met the whole family for tea and they spoke excellent English. They are very generous and kind people who offered to help wherever they could. They made us feel welcome right away. They taught us to write our names in Arabic which is a great memento of our stay in Madaba. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.
