It was located in a peaceful neighborhood, yet conveniently close to the city center and local attractions. Nao was an exceptional host—warm, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with delightful gifts including local cider, juice, and even toys for both adults and our 5-year-old, which was such a lovely touch. Nao also helped us with transport by calling a taxi and provided great local recommendations that enriched our experience. The house itself was well-equipped and cozy, offering a perfect retreat after our daily adventures. We especially appreciated how it preserved the traditional Japanese aesthetic while ensuring all the essentials were available. We highly recommend Nao’s place to anyone visiting Aomori—whether you're traveling as a couple, with family, or solo. It’s a perfect blend of hospitality, comfort, and cultural charm.

The room I had was a good size, with its own fridge/freezer to keep stuff in and a TV and desk. Water coolers and microwaves on both floors. The staff were so friendly! There was a warning about a bear in the area so the host drove me to and from the station every day, and one evening even took me on a drive to see the local sights. You can take a train into Aomori quite easily too.
