Knowing that I was in town for the Gujo Odori Festival, he introduced me to one of the dancers and helped me having a memorable experience. He also recommended many different places to eat and visit and assisted me with the transportation of my very heavy luggage. I really wish to go back one day and have more time to enjoy his well-equiped and cozy house! I will never forget my short - but incredible - stay at this beautiful place.

It was amazing time that we spent there! If you want to stay in cozy and quiet place, highly suggest. 15 minutes from the historical area, 20-25 minutes walk. There is playground for the kids that is not far from the house with beautiful views. Also want to mention that the owner is so hospitable and everything in the house is very clean and comfortable! We visited this place in winter and we were even given warm pads. It’s so considerate! Highly recommend!

The owner, like the rest of the locals, were overwhelmingly kind. Kanoko also left us some deer jerky from their hunting, which was absolutely delicious.
