It is located on a quiet lane in a small village that is a convenient base for seeing many temples and experiencing lovely hikes as well as for visiting cities like Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. It is a ten minute walk to the Miminashi train station for the Kintetsu Line. The owners are warm and very welcoming, multilingual, and knowledgeable about places of interest nearby. We stayed six days and felt very much at home in a beautiful area of Japan.

The place is so clean and comfy, I'm amazed how the place is kept so immaculate despite how huge it is. Kaori san the owner is lovely, she show us around the whole place and also help us get the fire going for the traditional bath which turn out to be the best private onsen bath ever! It is just perfect, couldn't ask for more. I also enjoy Sei-chan the people loving black cat too.
