We really enjoyed staying in Hidden Heaven - we even extended our stay by 3 days. We were renting our own Tuktuk so the location was ideal as it was right on the main road with quick & easy access (5 min drive) to Hiriketiya and Kudawella (a great beginner surf spot) and was also only a 15 minute drive to Silent Beach in Tangalle. The room we stayed in was large, spacious, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted with many outlets, Netflix, toiletries, tea & coffee, etc. Even on the main road the room is well sound proofed and quiet at night. The staff are very friendly & go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. We would recommend staying here (especially if you have your own Tuktuk as they have parking space that’s gated at night)

At the apartment complex, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Sahan and has family are great hosts and made us feel very welcome, and a very friendly dog. The breakfasts were amazing! 5 minutes walk from a beach where you can swim with turtles, and a short tuktuk away from the main Dikwella town and Hirekitiya. Sahan also got us get on a direct bus to our next location which was really helpful!

At the apartment complex, each unit includes bed linen and towels. We stayed in the top floor apartment and it was one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka. The attention to detail in the interior and supplies for guests was wonderful. It far exceeded my expectations. The location is incredible, a couple of minutes on foot to the beautiful hiriketiya beach, and surrounded by an abundance of great restaurants. We were lucky enough on our last morning to be entertained by a family of monkeys playing around the balcony and roof, an experience we'll never forget being immersed in the most fantastic wildlife.

With garden views, Serene Villa Hiriketiya is situated in Hiriketiya and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Really nice and beautiful hotel, close to Hiriketiya beach. Clean rooms, with a little swimming pool, and a relaxed rooftop yoga place. Very good and rich breakfast table, with an amazingly good Cappuccino. Highly recommended and can not wait to return.

Everything at Eraeliya Villas & Gardens is designed to make you feel like you are straight out of a movie scene. All rooms are filled with artworks and handcrafted pieces. Lush tropical gardens, an infinity pool, and the scenic beach at sunset will make your heart skip a beat in the best way possible. Great food, Amazing views, Very comfortable bed and bed linens, Renuka at the Spa was amazing! Best spa in Sri Lanka. The hotel helped arrange a sustainable whale watching tour and was prompt with organising tuktuks to take us around.
