Situated in the Vilnius Old Town district of Vilnius, The Joseph is 300 metres from Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre and an 8-minute walk from Gediminas' Tower. The property is close to several well-known attractions, 800 metres from Museum of Genocide Victims, a 19-minute walk from Bastion of the Vilnius Defensive Wall and a 5-minute walk from Money Museum of the Bank of Lithuania. This tiny apartment has everything one could dream of, including a washing machine and kitchen supplies. I liked the furniture and the decorations. The room was so nice that I almost didn't want to go outside and explore the city 🤣. The 'bed' in my apartment was actually a narrow sofa, and in the beginning I thought it will be a problem, but it was actually much more comfortable than I imagined. I liked that there was a lamp next to the bed for late reading and a collection of books. The particular highlight for me was the book about Greek mythology (FYI most of the books are in Lithuanian). There is a table and a chair, so you can work from this apartment. The bathroom is quite big and clean.

All the rooms of Silvija are soundproofed, allowing for a peaceful and quiet rest. They are decorated in classical style with a large, flat-screen TV with cable channels, armchairs, a table and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and free toiletries. I liked that there is a reception and that it was easy and uncomplicated to get the right key even after the receptionist went home. The room was cosy and warm. Milk, tea and cereals were provided in the shared kitchen, it was perfect for breakfast. The location is very central, perfect to visit the old city, and there is the possibility to store the luggage at the property even after checkout. I definitely recommend this place for sightseeing and exploring Vilnius.

Poppy Apartments is a recently renovated apartment in the centre of Vilnius, 1.8 km from Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights and 1.4 km from Bastion of the Vilnius Defensive Wall. The accommodation is non-smoking. Very clean, recently renovated apartment in a soviet era apartment block. Actually quite nice views - you can really watch the suburban life going on from your window. The location was great for us because we were attending sports competition in the nearby park/forest. However it is a quite far from center - about 15 min by car to the old town (on Sunday with no traffic jams). Note that the apartment is on Floor 7, there is a small soviet standard elevator - I think baby carriage would just a about fit in it. The elevator worked very well while we were there, but if not, you are in for some exercise :-)

AC was a life saver, very clean and new looking apartment, comfortable couch and bed, washing machine with a dryer was extremely useful too. Kitchen with everything you'd need. 10/10
