Located in Ohakune at the foothills of Mt Ruapehu, Rocky Mountain Chalets Ohakune provides home away from home accommodation with own parking and decks plus private in room free Wi-Fi with smart TV's. Some chalets have mountain views. We have a 16 person meeting room, access to 3 deep soak hot tubs, infrared sauna and a vending machine for drinks and snacks plus a Bike washing station. Beautiful facilities - a home away from home. Superbly clean and warm.

First time stargazers experience, under a sky lit with stars, in the dead of night & cold. Beautiful sunset & sunrise from the front porch. Greeted up, close & personal by cows & sheep from the kitchen window, 1st & last view of the day. Even the driving of 1 km of gravel to the cabin was an exciting prelude to the fantastic cabin. Friendly host gave very clear instructions via email, very smooth checking in & out process. Breakfast was good. Thanks!
