A good location for a relaxing holiday in San Francisco, Camotes Cay Hideaway is an apartment surrounded by views of the sea. The property features a private beach area, garden and private parking among other facilities. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Everything! From the moment we contacted the hosts, the communication was quick and helpful. Upon arrival, they were more than helpful. They took care of us from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. They interacted with our children. They picked us up and dropped us at the port. The breakfast was phenomenal. We had a stressful arrival and we found a bottle of wine on our table. We asked for adventure and they arranged the best trike driver to take us around for some caves and ziplining fun! The next day, they arranged a boat so we could snorkel. The divers of this boat showed the kids a starfish a clownfish and a cave. Also, the views are stunning, the area is peaceful, the beach is full of sealife. If you want to be taken care of, this is the place to stay. It was like staying with family in all the good ways.

The property features a well-maintained pool, and since our room was on the ground floor, it was incredibly convenient with direct access right outside our doorstep. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—including cooking utensils and even waste separation bins for clean and efficient recycling. We especially enjoyed the small patio where we could relax and unwind. One of the best aspects of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere at night—something that’s not always easy to find in the Alona Beach area. The entire facility felt safe and welcoming, with a friendly security guard at the gate who also shared helpful local tips. The owners, Danny and Mae, were wonderful hosts. Danny personally greeted us upon arrival, which made us feel very welcomed. He was also very responsive and attentive to our messages during our stay, promptly answering any questions and addressing any concerns we had. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The location is also perfect—just a 5-minute walk to both Alona Beach and the main street, giving easy access to restaurants and shops while still being tucked away in a quieter area. Overall, this is an ideal place for couples and families looking for a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly stay near the beach. I’d give it a solid 10/10!

At the apartment complex, all units are allergy-free. It felt like home. It is a family owned business but you feel the warmth and hospitality by the staff most specially the owner & property manager. It actually exceeds expectation if you think about what you are paying vs what you are getting. We will definitely come back.
