He wrote me via to make sure everything was ok and to give me information on how to get there. In fact, it was very useful because I realized that, due to my mistake, I arrived in Touseur at 2 am. Siraj's father offered to pick me up at the bus station, and hosted me in his house offering me breakfast until the next day to check in. The thing I appreciated most was that, not knowing the local culture, I offered to pay for the service and Siraj's father told me that he did it wholeheartedly as a favor. As a traveler, where people are often kind only to ask for money, this thing struck me a lot and left a beautiful memory both of Siraj and his family, and of all Tunisians, who I consider an extraordinary and very kind people. Also, having breakfast with an authentic Tunisian family is a very important and valuable cultural experience for me. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, about 15 minutes walk from the bus station and the center, in a quiet and safe area. I walked it several times even in the evening in total tranquility and safety. Absolutely recommended!

I couldn't get the gas stove to work and he got somebody to help me within 5 minutes! It is further for the center, but of you want to walk, the tourist center (look for Dar Cherait) is super closeby and you can go on from there. There's many taxis too that can drop you in 5min for only 3TD.
