From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us as part of the family. Because they weren't fully booked during low season (there was a typhoon during our stay), they offered us a free upgrade of the room, which meant that we had 3 bedrooms with huge beds for the 2 of us, and a lovely sunset view. If we wanted to, we could've even switched rooms for free during our stay. The villa is absolutely beautiful, with all the plants and the stairs leading up to the rooms. The staff helped us with everything: renting motorbikes (delivered to the hotel), booking a taxi, even offering to take us on a tour of the island for free. We joined them for dinner twice, where we had the most delicious local food - AND a lot of fun with drinks, dancing and karaoke. At the checkout, we wanted to give them a tip for the amazing service and dinners, but they refused to accept this and instead insisted on a discount. Thank you to our amazing host for making our time on Cat Ba Island very memorable!

I really appreciated how he detailed the check-in formality for us through messages, which facilitated the checkin process. Secondly, since we are not locals, it was very nice of him to recommended us with variety of food that we could explore around the city. Of course, the hygiene and comfortability of our shelter was provided. Lastly, the price was reasonable, therefore, it was worth-to-stay.
