Beautiful apartments with a stunning view, a very lovely backyard featuring a jacuzzi and a barbecue area. The property has pepper plants, lemons, tomatoes, and kiwis growing on site. There are fish swimming in the pond, along with water lilies. The hosts are very kind and clearly put a lot of heart into both the accommodation and their guests. The apartments are fully equipped with everything you might need, and the internet is surprisingly fast for a mountainous area. The only thing to keep in mind is the long stairs leading up to the apartments, which might be challenging for elderly people or those with mobility limitations. However, the view from the apartments is definitely worth it!

This classic Italianate villa was really beautifully restored, very comfortable and with excellent amenities. The modern kitchen was very useful - apparently shared but we saw no one else! Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!

Don't let the name put you off. There is a small, tidy butcher shop on the ground floor but most of the multi-story house has been turned into a B&B, including a spacious breakfast room and a lovely outdoor patio with lots of seating and potted plants. The room was tastefully painted with a soothing sage green, and the hallways and common areas are decorated with antique books and various shop paraphernalia, such as an old cash register, to add visual interest. The breakfast was very tasty, with freshly made fruit salad and local cheeses and meats. The hostess is dedicated to the hotel and her guests. Entrance is easy after hours with the lockbox. Outside, there's a small passage that will lead you to the other side of the tracks, so you can reach the lakeside promenade in less than five minutes.
