Beach rentals in Oshima

We enjoyed a lot staying at your place. We found it beautiful and authentic and spent a very happy stay with our granddaughter. For our French Japanese family it was quite an experience. Beautiful house in Japanese style, futons and downy covers were very comfortable. Garden was lovely and our hosts were very friendly. Very well equipped.

The building is right in front of the ferry dock. Futon mattresses were extremely clean. There is a fancy sushi bar on the backside.

We stayed in Japan for a month and travelled to Oshima Island for a week staying in this wonderful home. Now that we’ve finished our trip, we can safely say it was our favourite place we stayed on the trip. The view feels like you’re on a ship looking out to sea. The tranquility was wonderful. On one of the days it was clear enough to see Mount Fuji from the house, it was stunning! There would often be many buzzards flying directly above the house. The host was very nice, he really made us feel welcome. This really helped us settle in quickly and know we’re being looked after. We didn’t hire a car which wasn’t a problem as the bus stop is just a couple of minutes walk away from the house. From there we could access most of the island. We really enjoyed the traditional Japanese style of the house. The Futons were comfortable and were perfect for our toddler to sleep next to us. The house has many sliding doors so you can adjust the space to your liking. The kitchen was very well equipped, there was even some salt, pepper, spices etc which most places wouldn’t usually include. This made it easy to cook during our stay without having to buy these bits. The house is just a couple minutes walk to the beach. There is a direct access down some steps so you don’t need to walk / cross any roads. We hope to visit again in the future and do some fishing. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Good location, close to the beach, though I came seemingly off-season and the city was empty. Very clean and comfortable beds, I have enjoyed my stay.
