Location to the beach and restaurants was so close. The facilities were spotlessly clean, decor minimalist and easy on the eye. The shower was really good! Aircon was efficient and so quiet. Communication was very smooth. We were sent a link for directions too which really helped.

Situated within 1.4 km of Lo Scoglio Lungo and 35 km of Alghero Marina, Golden House features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Porto Torres. I had a truly wonderful stay in Porto Torres! The house offers excellent value for the price—much more than you’d expect. The entry hall and kitchen are incredibly welcoming, creating a cozy, homey atmosphere that’s far more inviting than any hotel I’ve visited. The location is perfect: just a pleasant 10-minute walk from the port through a charming local residential area, which allowed me to experience the authentic side of Porto Torres. One of my favorite features was the delightful inner court, filled with plants, beautiful pottery, and ancient-style garden chairs. It’s the perfect spot to relax outdoors, and two of the three rooms have direct access to this lovely space. Every detail in the house is thoughtfully chosen—the rooms and common areas are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. I found the bed to be especially comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice. La padrona di casa truly embodies Sardinian hospitality! In the morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast, including a fantastic homemade cake. She was always ready with helpful recommendations for local sights and restaurants, and her warm conversation made me feel right at home. Si vede che ha davvero a cuore i suoi ospiti! I would return here without hesitation. I had just booked an overnight, but I could easily imagine staying here multiple days to explore the North West of Sardinia (plenty of tourist information is available at the Stazione Maritima of Porto Torres). You can book this place with confidence, knowing you’ll be well taken care of. The Basilica San Gavino is quite near and you have a good pizzeria there with the same name. Grazie mille per tutto!

Set in the centre of Alghero, 600 metres from Spiaggia di Las Tronas, Blue Terrace Guest House offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. I had a great time at Blueterrace. The location is perfect, very close to the promenade and the seaside. The house has just been renovated inside and out, and the room was very nice and comfortable. Plus, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly (something that’s not so common in Sardinia). The host was incredibly kind and always available. He even helped me plan an itinerary for my trip, which really made me feel at home. What I enjoyed the most was the spacious terrace, a beautiful space to relax and unwind.
