Our special thanks goes to the very nice male staff who render his efficient services in table-setting for the many dishes of traditional Japanese cuisines, both for dinner and breakfast. He guided us the unique flavors of each type of food and the best way of eating with various sauces and condiments. He took the initiative to give us pamphlets about the sight-seeing spots nearby. We took his advice and did another hour of touring to learn more about Atami. It was a very hospitable and warming journey we had had with this hotel. Thank you for the very kind services of all the dedicated staff as well.

Isoaruki no Yuyado Ushiogumo -6 years or older- features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Kawazu, 37 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Really enjoyed staying at Ushiogumo: The facilities are brand-new and impeccable, amazing staff (!!), beautiful location that's close to scenic landscapes. The Kaiseki Ryori dinner was excellent, breakfast was great too! Each room has a private bath on the balcony. There's lots of amenities in the room. Plus, the hotel onsen is made available for private use from 6pm. It's a small property (I counted 7 rooms) and thus feels very cozy. The road in front of the hotel did not really bother us. The terrace windows are well-isolated to block out any noise and there's also the calming sound from the balcony onsen. Extra points for the super-friendly staff!!! ...who can also converse in English so it's no problem for foreign tourists.

Situated in Atami and only 600 metres from Atami Sun Beach, Marina Bay Atami features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was great! 4 adults and 4 kids stayed there perfectly. Apartment was clean, had plenty of towels, disposable toothbrushes and body washing sponges. The manager was super nice, and the location was very convenient. We didn’t have a car, but everything was so close, so we didn’t need it anyways. We had amazing view of spectacular fireworks at the roof top!! I can keep going for many more positive experiences. We will be back!

Situated in Atami and only less than 1 km from Atami Sun Beach, 素泊まり宿 瑞宝荘 features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Host was extremely friendly; I was travelling with my son and we had great fun using google translator. Location was great. Room, although on the small side, was fine with a private bathroom. Small breakfast was provided and we were able to bring back food to have in the kitchen for dinner. We caught the beginning of the blossom season and Plum Park was an easy short train ride and walk. Also easy access to the bus to Mt Fuji lookout although we could only see the top of it due to cloud.

Romey and his wife are very nice. They took us to the station and recommended us some good restaurants. They are interesting. We talked a lot at night. We can see the sea through the window of the room. I love swimming in the sea and I really enough this trip.

ペンション桜家 features air-conditioned guest accommodation in Shimoda, 600 metres from Shirahama Ohama Beach, 47 km from Koibito Misaki Cape and 50 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Breathtaking views of both the mountain and the sea, the staff is very accommodating and kind. We will definitely come back.

Clean, Comfortable, the traditional ryokan vibe is great. Close to station, the scenary around is wonderful. There is an awesome seaside opendoor onsen within walking distance. Most important, the owner is so nice and friendly!

Guesthouse SORA, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is set in Minamiizu, 500 metres from Yumigahama Beach, 42 km from Koibito Misaki Cape, as well as 3.8 km from Chokoku-ji Temple. Thank you very much, I had a great time here. The place is nice, clean and quiet, perfect to relax after diving. 😊
