We were two couples travelling and had a super comfortable stay with Jan and Chris. They are truly amazing hosts and really make you feel so welcome. There’s a huge garden to explore and it was so lovely and relaxing. Thoroughly recommend.

Bruce and Teresa were very welcoming and sent good instructions on how to get there. They were available if needed but not overbearing. The shop / cafe on site was beautiful with some amazing cakes on offer. The rooms and kitchen area were very clean with lovely decor. We honestly can’t fault our stay here at all and would be recommending to anyone visiting the forest around there.

Set just 11 km from Northland Event Centre, Tamaterau Seaview House in Whangarei offers accommodation in Whangarei with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. This is without a doubt, a hidden gem. Alice is just the most wonderful hostess. Her house is unbelievable. But that all pales, compared to the view you have from the back deck. The photos do not do it justice. What a vista. Best sleep I had on my entire trip. Thankyou, Alice.
