Sensational stunning location so quiet, so lovely. The lake is like a dream especially on a sunny still day. The house is beautiful like a fantasy from a wild west movie. The saunas were amazing especially the wood fired one by the lake. Plungng into the lake after a hot sauna was so invigorating.

Beautiful quiet location with an amazing view, but close to a ski lift to get to Ruka village. Easy to park, short drive to the supermarket. Helpful hosts with thoughtful touches like a bar of chocolate left out and Christmas decorations. We loved the sauna and drying cupboard. Kitchen was well equipped.

This is beautiful house: in its bare wood outside it looks wonderful in the forests. It is very comfortable and hot in the house. The inner part is fully equipped: bathroom, two toilet rooms, sauna, washing mashine. There is second floor with lots of spare beds. The kitchen is clean and fully equipped with everything to kook in and to eat from. Lovely cristmas tree, and many cristmas things all over the space make it nice and lovely! Loved the fireplace. The Ruka is in 5 minutes walk. There is a product shop. You have a beautiful lake very near the house , with a ski routes through the woods and over the lake. Loved this place! Thanks a lot!

I have stayed in Rukan Salonki cottages before and have always liked it. It is best choice for bigger groups because big cottages have 6 bedrooms each and 14 people can fit comfortably

Splendid location in the middle of the forest, close to the Russian border. All in wood: kind restaurant place and nice rooms. An ideal place to start the tral "Pieni Karhunkierros. The buffet was good: the eveningbuffet and breakfastbuffet.
