I loved how accommodating they were for when we turned up after a football match. The breakfast is yummy and we had fun playing in the games room pool and darts.

    The hotel was in the perfect location for us, close to family, good transport links to Liverpool and Southport and beach walks more or less from the doorstep. The room we had was comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was good. But the best thing of all was the staff. They were, without exception, friendly and helpful. In particular Liz who does the breakfast service was an absolute diamond - nothing was too much trouble for her and although she was busy she still made time for a chat.
