Set right on the harbours edge, this cute little cottage style accommodation is a great place to stay in. In the heart of Whitby and at the foot of the 199 steps that lead to the Abbey, you cannot fault the location. The room looks out to the harbour & over towards the Captain Cook statue on top of the adjacent hillside. At night the sound of the water is very therapeutic & the lights across the way are stunning as they reflect in the water. The host was very pleasant & helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for a great stay in the charming town of Whitby.

Wonderful place to visit. So much to see even in the off season.

The White House Inn is situated on the West Cliff of Whitby with views of Sandsend Cliffs. It offers rooms with free WiFi, a restaurant and the beach is a 5-minute walk away.

The location was excellent! Very central in Whitby. The owners communicated instructions clearly. The place was clean and well outfitted. The pub next door had a seating overlooking the harbor. Plus we got a discount because we were staying at the property next door. Good shower in the en-suite.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Couldn't do enough for us. Excellent breakfast, and the room and bathroom were very clean.

Beautifully decorated apartment in a great location for town and the local beaches. The dogs were very happy and comfy too!

Lovely helpful hosts ,I fell ill and allowed us to stay abit longer until I was well enough to travel home. Excellent breakfast very clean , comfortable bed nothing to dislike , would return back and recommend to friends and family

Everything was fabulous! Location, Decor, Cleanliness, Comfort (double bed and pillows were so comfortable), Very Spacious, Hosts, the list goes on….. would definitely recommend and 100% will stay again.
