Wonderful historical hotel. The view across to the Pier and the North Sea was wonderful. Great to open the window and hear the waves crashing against the sea wall. I commend the Staff at the hotel. Like so many hotels and restaurants both in the U.K. and Canada, full staffing is a problem since Covid. The people at this hotel were amazing, many having to cover more than one position. They were so friendly and helpful. Would return to The Red Lion if we ever come that way again.

Lovely, welcoming hosts. I felt at ease and at home and enjoyed the fresh eggs, milk and cookies they offered. The cabin is cozy, warm and covered basic needs. Nice view of the water and a paved walking path down the to the beach next to property.

    We absolutely loved staying at the Beach hut seaside cottage and will definitely be going back again! The cottage itself is situated in the best location right off the high street, it’s super clean and the bed was SO COMFY! Which is a big one for us both, clean and you got the choice out of a bath OR a shower which was so lovely! Thank you so so so much, can’t wait to come back!
