The guy serving drinks at the bar was very friendly and bubbly made ordering a drink fun. This is the second time we have been here and we love it. We wanted somewhere quiet that we could chill, read and look out at the sea. There’s a restaurant below which serves good food and take away coffee etc for pyjama days. There is also secure parking which is a huge bonus, especially as you are just a short walk to the town. For the quintessential British seaside holiday in a grand Edwardian seafront hotel it can’t be beaten. Twelve foot high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows capturing the magnificent view of beach and harbour, and right bang in the middle of town. And a short walk to the station makes it easy if you don’t come with a car.
