The location is fantastic with sea views, the owners and staff are very welcoming and attentive. The grounds are well maintained, along with the pool. GT Beach is a great place if you are looking for a place to chill by the pool or beach, this is the place for you. Although GT Beach is on a strip of other hotels, it is apart from the rest so you have the feeling of separation from the crowds while being in a location that is central to all the amenities you would ever want ie: Bars, Restaurants, shops and of course Beaches...

Just 150 metres from the beach, the traditionally built Ledra Maleme Hotel offers a swimming pool, poolside bar and Cretan restaurant.

It’s an amazing place! Far from hustle and bustle, just 5 min walk from a wonderful beach that is never overcrowded This place is a good choice for those who wants tranquility far from busy beach life But it’s available just 5 -10 min ride The hotel is very clean with comfortable rooms and studios (we lived in a studio for 3) and had a wonderful well planned territory The swimming pool is absolutely clean and very beautiful, a bar and a restaurant are wonderful too I’ll be back there with a great pleasure

Everything was great. The view was amazing, we could watch the sunsets every day from the terrace. The breakfasts were delicious and very diverse, I think everyone will find something for themselves. We also tried the à la carte dinners several times, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was very nice and helpful. The swimming pool is clean, large enough, with a separate paddling pool for children. I highly recommend!

Very clean ar quiet place for holidays with family. Close to the city and the sea. A little bit small rooms, but if you looking for active holidays and relax evening in balcony, its perfect place.

Everything was perfect - the staff were exceptional nothing was a problem. it was a happy place to be and we made friends. Spotless cleaning each day by the cleaning ladies. I broke the key in the lock and it was sorted out in no time and no charge. The bar staff were so brilliant and the Tuesday night greek dancing was the best night we had in Crete - highly recommended. The Chef took great pride in his food and so he should - it was homemade and so tasty. we loved the beach chairs and he always had a warm smile to greet us each day ❤️ ❤️

Above and beyond. Our host was fantastic, took great care, just like an aunt would, with lots of tips and tricks, recommendations and advice on how to not fall for the old' tourist traps. Definitely recommend the place, it has a generous terrace with a very nice sea view. And again, Angela, our host was the nicest host we ever had in Greece, and we've been coming to Greece for the past 15 years. So, thank you, Angela!

I had a ground floor apartment with terrace on both sides. Very satisfied with everything. The apartment has a refrigerator and space for ice cubes at the top. The shopping street is 50 meters away, bus stop is Chania senter/ Square, and it is 300 meters away. Bus from Platanias to Chania was 2,20€ in May 2025. The Beach is also 100 meters away. The people in the resepsjon is very nice, and they help if you ask. I got oranges from their garden so i could make fresh orange juice 🙂 It' the little ekstra things that counts. I would highly recommend this apartments complex.

We stayed in Alkionides for 7 days and it was abolutely fantastic. The room unfortunately did not have sea view, but it was very clean and modern. Room service is doing cleaning and towel change at daily basis. We enjoyed ourselves having delicious breakfasts in a very cosy hotel restaurant, the owners are very friendly, they offer home-made orange jam, olive oil and domestic fruits, there are various dishes to choose. We highly recommend this place!
