This place was truly something special. The views were absolutely stunning, and the whole atmosphere just made it so easy to relax and enjoy every moment. The location is great with access to the private beach! Communication with the host was prompt and helpful, he also offered us tips on how to explore the island. This is a classic Greek domatia, so what makes it special? First, Sakis is an AMAZING host! From checking in to make sure you are OK, to giving ideas on what to see and do, to dropping off lovely snacks of fruit or Greek spoon sweets. I could not have felt more welcome and I was able to communicate with him and his mother using a mix of Greek, English and German. The place is immaculately clean and there's a lovely shady terrace where you can sit outside, have your breakfast and look at the sea, which is just on the other side of the road and fine for swimming. I even have to comment on how great the shower was - unlike most places I've stayed in Greece, the actual space was big enough, the water pressure was excellent and, because of a nice long shower curtain, the water stayed inside the shower and did not go all over the bathroom floor! Those who've travelled in Greece before will know what a big deal this is :-) A HUGE thank you to Sakis and his mother, Maria, for the wonderful hospitality.
