The location was great, a short stroll into town where you could find restaurants, bakery, groceries etc. The hosts were lovely and kept the place very clean. We didn’t use the pool but it looked fantastic. We visited the lakes and it was an easy drive and nice to come back to a place with a nice balcony where we could relax and enjoy the views of the mountains. Would highly recommended it to anyone looking for a quiet comfortable place near the lakes.

The location is perfect for exploring the national park plitivce lakes. Mr. Rubčić was very nice and welcoming, he even spoke a little bit of German when he discovered that we are from Austria. The Pool is a very good feature, although my girlfriend said it was a bit cold. Parking was directly in front of our appartement, the internet was fast and breakfast was also pretty good - even though there could have been a bit more selection.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Villa Rubcic. Rudy is a great host and serves up a very nice breakfast as well as invaluable information about the area. Couple of restaurants in the nearby towns and short drive to the lakes.
