Beach Hotels in Alleppey

The best homestay, if you are coming to Alleppey and want to enjoy tasty Kerala food, budget friendly, experience true hospitality, with the opportunity to make wonderful friends and in a great location just 2 minutes walk from the beach then Venitia Homestay is the right choice. There is the option of Fan or AC, we chose fan. The rooms are spacious, comfortable bed, and drinking water/glasses provided. The shower pressure is good, towels are provided and the windows in bedroom open fully to allow good air circulation if needed. The first visit, (we stayed here 3 times in total), we extended our trip and stayed for 8 nights and the bed linen/towels were changed without even asking. There is space to relax here, on the balcony, interacting with the family or even up to the rooftop to admire the stars at night. The family are so lovely, their hospitality is 5* and it feels like a home away from home. Jeeja's cooking is so good, we ate nearly all our meals here, some at the family dining area downstairs and some upstairs near our room, vegetarian/meat/fish/spicy/not spicy she is very accommodating and for myself just a little sugar in the best masala chai in Kerala 😊 Jeeja the Masala Chai Queen ☺️ If they could help us in any way they did so, they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, to look after us and arrange trips/recommend places to visit. We even did some exploring with Aakash, went to the cinema together, and enjoyed many conversations with all the family. Staying with this kind, caring, friendly and fun family has been a true highlight of my visit to Kerala, and I look forward to visiting them again next time I return to Kerala. I recommend sunrise kayaking, the budget friendly Vega government boat trip, KSRTC Gavi trip, the beach near by, and generally just exploring the area.

The location was right on the beach, the room spacious and very clean and comfortable. The owners were helpful and nice. I really enjoyed the simplicity of this location. At that moment it was just what I needed.

We booked 3 days at Ameya and added an extra one. Amazing garden, top notch bungalow and great swimming pool overviewing the lake. 4 times upclass dinner served at our own bungalow and we once took the opportunity to join the chef delivering his masterpieces. Everything perfect because of Anish (always ready to explain Indian history and Kerala culture) and his staff constantly running the extra mile and then doing one more. Highly recommended!

Daniela, Jackson and other staff members are very welcoming and I felt like at home when I arrived. The garden is beautifully designed. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is perfect at a quiet part of the beach and you have a direct access to the beach from the property.

food was excellent, staff very friendly, yoga classes very inspiring, pool amazing, a piece of paradise. we loved it!

We have been in this beautiful house facing the see. Riyas and his family are truly polite and treated us really well. The room was so clean, really comfy and it’s been beautiful sleeping with the sound of the waves.

Very calm and serene location. Perfect place for a get away. The best part was the pettable and friendly dogs around and the sound of nature. While the property is not a luxurious one, it still is a home away from home with all the facilities and a steal deal for the rate..The best part is Swiggy delivers to this place despite being a place secluded from all the commotions. Manu was exceptionally helpful in arranging houseboat trips and visits to local places. I'd strongly recommend this place as a spot for workation. Rating 4.75/5

The host, Jackson is really helpful and very friendly! Helps you organise airport transfers, taxis and even backwater trips at good prices too. The location is excellent, right at the beach, and quiet, surrounded by nature. Swimming was nice and the beach is stunning. The room was really clean and nice too, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was also good. Really recommend this stay :)
