The place is much more beautiful than the pictures. The apartment and the surroundings are splendid. The apartment has everything you need, very cozy and it was renovated a month ago. Ashtildur and Jonni are wonderful, and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality.

Managed to get a cabin on the same day we checked in, without knowing that this was one of the highly raved accommodation in the area! The location was secluded, to say the least, but the address provided was accurate and a breeze to find. Just a quick 10min drive from the city/ Kirkjufell and had the perfect condition to catch the Northern Lights (provided the sky's clear). Great view of Kirkjufell from the room too! The bed and toilet were comfy; no issues with the hot water for us. Really really love the paintings on the wall too - a great way to show support for the local kids with special needs!

Super comfortable place, and beautiful guesthouse! We booked a room with shared bathroom, and endend up having a private bathroom :) the room was super confortable, the kitchen was spacious and with lots of tools to cook, and the view was amazing! We saw great northern lights from our window. I recommend a lot!

Perfect location right at the sea front. We stayed one night in a downstairs apartment with a private bathroom and it was a good sized room, spotless and very quiet. There was plenty of free parking on site. The facilities were clean and modern and checkin was efficient and friendly. The local supermarket was within walking distance and we had dinner at Sker restaurant which was again very close to the hotel. Food, view and ambience at Sker were all great. We would have liked to stay another night but unfortunately the place was booked out.

    This was our final stop after touring the island and it was by far our favorite place! Breath-taking view as we stayed in apartment 1, we had a direct ocean view with Kirkjufell. It included everything we needed. Fantastic hosts, as well! Can only recommend.

    We stayed after a day exploring the Snaefellsness Peninsula. Perfect location to see Kirkjufell Mountain before continuing on to the Westfjords. Room was basic but contained everything we needed for a one-night stay.

    It was an absolutely amazing experience! Right on the main paved road, an incredible view on the ocean, mountains and sunset! The lady who showed me around the property was so delightful with her little cute boy. The facilities are complete, even milk and seasoning for free. There is a large board with all helpful links/info. Bathrooms spotless clean! Free parking. The centre of village has a charming restaurant with an incredible view! A bit costly, however, worth having a meal there for the experience and great food really!
