Beach Hotels in Meta

We spent a fantastic week full of experiences in this beautiful place. Thank you to the hosts for taking extra care of us 😀 The apartment is beautiful, clean, cozy and equipped with all comforts (air con, washing machine,... ) Very comfortable mattresses and pillows, so perfect relaxation is guaranteed. The reservable parking space and the nearby beach are a big plus and rare in this area. The location of the is apartment is perfect, for us it was the base for exploring the peninsula. It was great to come back here, to end the day with a swim in the sea and dinner, knowing that we had a secure parking spot. There are sandy, pebbly, crystal clear beaches nearby and excellent restaurants on the beach. Public transport is also good, a bus stop is for a 7-minute walk, from where you can get anywhere. Meeting point for excursions is also here. Thank you Manlio and Maria once again for your kind hospitality and assistance with the excursions, we will be back for sure 😍

Amazing location overseeing beach front, with very good selection of local , reasonably priced restaurants offering wide selection of local, delicious food. Close to transport links offering connection to train station and Sorrento. Our apartment was very spacious, offering privacy and everything you need for short or longer stay. We are extremely happy of our choice and will cherish memories of Meta and Sorrento for many years to come. Ferry trip to Capri and visit to Pompei is a must -highly recommended!

The hotel was in a perfect location, room overlooking the sea and sunsets. Staff is all amazing and over the top friendly. Few restaurants nearby walking dosatance. A great spot for a calm, beautiful beach vacation away from the troves of tourist but not far from the action.

Location was very good, right opposite the beach. There were plenty of shops within walking distance including restaurants, cafes, pharmacy, supermarket, bus stops. An amazing sunset view in the evening, the sun seems to set in the sea!

We stayed here for a week and it was absolutely wonderful! There are two suites next to one another. Ours was called Suite Positano (the one without the elevated jacuzzi) with total privacy. The view was truly amazing — the tiered homes were so close it felt like we could touch them; the beach and the ocean were in full view too. We didn’t even need to rent beach chairs because our balcony was better with privacy. The view from the shower was stunning! The two staff were sooo accommodating and friendly, every morning they prepared us a breakfast feast! Fabio is who we communicated with on Whatsapp for anything. Anything we needed, they arranged for us. He even arranged a transfer for us from Naples airport to the villa for $170 with a stop at Pompeii (without the Pompeii stop it would’ve been €140). This transfer was literally half the price of what Viator quoted. But it doesn’t include porter service which is honestly necessary as there are a lot of steps involved (€15 per suitcase). Location is close to everything! there’s a very nice mini market just below the steps, the beach and the boat terminal is about a 3-4 min walk, tons of restaurants less than a five minute was including Chez Black and Covo dei Saraceni. We were in for a treat when Napoli won the championship and fireworks were going off all night and the firework spectacle was so close to us and all around our balcony! I did so much research looking for the best property with a view and for the best price point. Out of curiosity, when we arrived in Positano, we went to visit hotels we had considered like Hotel Poseidon and Le Sirenuse. A lot of these luxury hotels are rather far from the centre and they are located on the main road of Positano (there’s only one road in this town) — making it’s dangerous to walk anywhere from the hotels, they aren’t overtly close to the beach or boat terminal, and I question if one can truly survive the fumes from the hoards of tour buses.
