Great location. A wonderful family running this small hotel. Breakfast was lovely, sat on the beach. There is a nice restaurant next door for evening meals, but you are pretty close to lots of other restaurants.

The tranquility and the birdlife of the location is excellent with the he view over the jungle and gardens and a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The attention to detail in and outside of the apartments is excellent. The rooftop terrace and each apartments' terrace offer another outside sitting experience. Ankie, the owner and her staff member Maheel are perfect hosts, helpful and caring, and not forgetting Nibs, the older of the 2 beautiful dogs, and Benson the young happy pooch! Riding into the inland region instantly brings out the old and traditional Sri Lanka life and the beautiful fauna and flora. Serpent eagles, land monitors, water monitors, buffalo, monkeys et al are passed pass by amongst the happy greetings with wonderful smiles from the locals. Quite a few unique temples and stupas including a monastery are close by. Along the road to the beach is the old and quaint Induruwa train station which adds to the appeal, catch the local commuter train and experience Sri Lanka life. Close by to the quite empty beach, deserted in the early mornings, provides an excellent walk and bathing at the south end of the beach is safe and comfortable. Many small and large restaurants have all manner of food along both the stretch of the beach and roadside. Facility to cook our own food, and the fridge on the rooftop terrace was a great bonus to us. The local bread and roti vendors pass by early morning and their roast paan amongst other breads is available and tasty. Roomy and comfortable apartment with air con, fan, kettle and fridge, mosquito net on the bed and also plug in mosquito repellers. All in all a wonderful 2 week stay.

Lovely hosts, you tell what you need, they fix it or at least advise you honestly. For extra services like lunch or tuk tuk or beer, they charge the fair price. If you have a question, or worry, feel free to let them know. We were traveling with 2 children : 2yr and 4yr old and we felt super taken care of 🤗 beach is just behind the property, place is quiet. A very cute property in Bentota. The resort is really amazing, worth staying. The beach is just a small walk away, crossing the rail path- which gives another wonderful experience.     Everything was amazing. Shashi's hospitality is top notch. The breakfast was scrumptious and filling. There's a private beach access which was wonderful. Sea is a bit rough but still enjoyable. There are many restaurants nearby. Bed has a mosquito net so didn't face any bug problems. For travel, I would highly suggest Uber or Pickmeright.

    Great location on the beach with sun loungers, tables and chairs in the shade from the palm trees. Safe beach for swimming. All of the family are lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were huge and lovely. Highly recommended.

    Such great hospitality. They really take care of their guests. Amazing breakfast with a view to the ocean. I even received breakfast when I arrived after a very long flight and journey from the airport. Waking up with hearing the waves and looking outside the window to the ocean makes a great start to the day. The beach was not crowded which I really liked. It was the beginning of my journey in Sri Lanka and couldn't have been better.

    Everything! The rooms are very spacious and very clean. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. It also has beach access to a beautiful quiet beach and includes a huge breakfast every morning!
