Beach Hotels in Rekawa

If I could rate this higher than 10 — I would. Incredibly beautiful, better than the pictures, the staff are INCREDIBLE, there is an adjoining restaurant that serves all meals, they are also INCREDIBLE, best food we’ve eaten in all of Sri Lanka.

The hotel was very nice ending for our Sri Lanka trip. We were travelling for our 10 year wedding anniversary and also my husbands birthday was same day of our anniversary. We spent our last 2 days in this hotel and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel was very helpful for our early check-in and late check-out sitations. The pool was very nice and clean, you can enjoy the ocean view and calm atmosphere from the pool. The restaurant and the food was amazing and really tasty. On our last night dinner i just told server Nimesh that its my husbands birthday and i want to make him a surprise little celebration with some candle and other staff. He arranged it very quickly and even they put Happy birthday song at the restaurant and my husband was just wow. Thank you, Nimesh, for this memory! Also the hotel Reception staff team was very kind and helpful, they have arranged a flower bouget surprise for us in the car during our transfer from Mirissa to Tangalle for our wedding anniversary. The room as well was nicely decorated with flowers and welcome amenities for our anniversary. Also in the mornings there was a free yoga lesson with a professional yoga instructor, we attended it and it was amazing to have it on open air. The hotel location as well was super nice, in the evenings we enjoyed amazing sunset view and you could also walk on the long beach. The hotel was just 30 minutes away from Rekawa Turtle watch, which we visited with the advise of the hotel reception and this was one of the best moments of our trips. Overall if you want to have a nice honeymoonlike stay in a resortlike property or a peaceful stay with your family and children, this hotel can be the best choice. The rooms are exceptionally well equipped furnished and designed and spacious Everything about our stay from arrival to departure was perfect, breakfast was delicious, the restaurants near by are exceptional

We had beautiful stay at this amazing place. Personal was always here and helpful, arranged for us tuktuk and bird watching tour. The room was amazing, clean, spacious, comfortable, we were upgraded for free. Ever day nice breakfast- different options available. Long Beach with palms and minimum people. If you get behind the waves, you can swim there. But best for long walks. Few beach restaurants nearby with fresh fish. Calm and peaceful, ideal if you want to get away from the crowds and just spend time with the sea and yourself.

This was one of our favorite homestays in Sri Lanka. We booked last minute after a different local hotel cancelled the night before and we're so glad we ended up staying here. There seemed to be 4 rooms, each with a gorgeous view of the lake with large private balconies that had comfy chairs for relaxing in. The rooms were absolutely huge and pristine and had massive comfy beds and plenty of space for hanging clothes. We really appreciated having the fridge, and though there are only small local shops near by the manager sold us bottles of beer from the restaurant that we stored in the fridge and had on the balcony in the evening. Bliss! We also liked the spacious bathroom. The buildings are located in the most lush gardens which are very well maintained by a very smiley, friendly man. The Gardens are also hosts to a beautiful family of grey faced langurs (the nice kind of monkey), chipmunks and so many species of bird it was hard to keep count. A favorite activity was bird watching from the balcony in the early morning. Breakfast was in a raised platform that overlooked the lake and gardens and was so tranquil. We really enjoyed the fresh juice and fruit platters. The location of the accommodation is just a 5 minute walk from the beaches and the manager shared his whatsapp details and was helpful with booking tuktuks and turtle tours. There were peddle bikes available free to use and also kayaks for the lake. We had hired a tuktuk and this area was perfect for learning how to drive it, with long very quiet roads. On the odd occasion we couldn't start the tuktuk the manager was very helpful and supportive and got it started for us without us really having to ask. We didn't catch his name, but the manager was a gem and so very helpful. We only wish we could have stayed here longer! The local village is very quiet and peaceful, so this is the perfect location to really chill and enjoy nature and the slow pace of local life.

The Alpha Monkey know how to do serenity and relaxation. Provided everything we needed and they make sure their guests are comfortable. Great to be away from the tourist track but a quick tuk tuk ride can get you to banks, shops, restaurants. This is the best place on this strip of coast.

It is really a hidden garden. I wnjoyed very much. Good value for money with nice surroundings, close to the beach and nice pool facilities. There is a yoga shala and private lessons on request. Very nice place!

The host was exceptionally accommodating when we had last minute change of plans, made delicious food and helped coordinate with Turtle Watch so we were able to see a turtle lay eggs!
