Stunning villa with great architecture ! The villa has a great location with easy access to the beach and just 10 mins away from Galle fort.. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the villa was very clean and of exceptional standard. In addition the food was amazing, we had Sri Lankan food as well as more Western cuisines and it was probably the best food I had during my trip to Sri Lanka. Most importantly the rooms were spacious and clean and had great views overlooking the beach . Really enjoyed my stay at Candella House.

Staying at this beachfront house was truly a dream. Booking direct was seamless and so worth it — from the moment we arrived, everything felt personal and relaxed. Nirocha and her family were adorable and very attentive to us, she advised us on visits and even negotiated for us a long distance taxi or the making of a piece of jewelry by a local jeweler at a very attractive price and a workmanship very well done. Located on the seafront with a natural swimming pool at the foot of the hotel. There are even some kinds of bathtubs that have been dug into the reef. The restaurant was excellent and plentiful as was the breakfast (sri lankan for us but they also provide continentale ones). There are 5 rooms, we had one of the two upper rooms equipped with air conditioning and WiFi. A king size four-poster bed with mosquito net. Really a very nice surprise especially for the human quality of Nirocha and his whole family. Thank you for this great stay. .

It's a beautiful place where you can fully relax. The staff was amazing (especially Harsha and Shakthi) and showed us beautifull places all around. They helped us with everything we asked them (like taking us to the train station to help us get on the right train). They really make you feel at ease. The room was magnificent with a beautiful bathroom and a very comfortable bed. It is amazing that there is a private beach at the hotel. You should really try the Sri Lanka breakfast option! It's delicious! In addition, they served us the most delicious coffee we had on our whole trip in Sri Lanka.

Our stay at Sielen Diva exceeded all expectations for many reasons: - The villa is GORGEOUS - the pictures on the booking page are already beautiful, but in person it's even more beautiful. The common areas are comfortable and the room was spaceous, luxurious and worked well for our 7 day stay. The close proximity to the nearly private, quiet beach is also a massive a massive bonus as the beaches in the area are fairly crowded with tourists. - The food is DELICIOUS - we traveled around Sri Lanka for 2 weeks and the food at Sielen Diva was the best we had throughout our whole trip. The menu is extensive with everything from Avocado toast and granola bowls in the morning to delicious fresh juices, specialty cocktails, home made ice cream to more traditional sri lankan food such as curries. I also have to mention that the chef and villa manager are super attentive to their guests' needs. Every evening we got a special mix of curries, one of us is allergic to onion and the food was adapted to this and we briefly mentioned that we love mangoes, after which we got fresh mango daily. - The staff is the KINDEST we've ever experienced - the villa staff was honestly what made our trip (on top of everything else). Everyone is SO SO friendly, helpful and caring. I want to give a special mention to the villa manager George who went above and beyond throughout the whole week to make our stay comfortable and smooth, organising rides, a special birthday celebration with cake, giving advice, picking up fresh veggies, seafood and fruit from the farmer's market and generally being an amazing human. Both of us have traveled loads around the world and stayed at top notch hotels and our experience at Sielen Diva was among the best (if not the best) hotel experience we've ever had. Do yourself a favor and STAY HERE!!!
