Gorgeous resort at an excellent location! The accommodation is beautiful and there are many spots on the property to lay outside with a book and relax. It's also a 10-minute walk from beautiful Kai Bae beach, which I loved. The resort also offers a large breakfast with various options. (I'm vegan and there was always fruit, toast, homemade jam, and rice.) I loved my stay and wish it could have been longer!

Santhiya Koh Chang Resort offers modern rooms on Klong Prao Beach, which is part of National Marine Park on the Gulf of Thailand. It features an outdoor pool and restaurant.

First: the coffee. As few wrote before, it’s really good. Don’t miss it, really. The staff: honestly this is one of the warmest welcome and stay I had in years. The young ladies from both shifts are very very helpful and really kind, they support with whatever they can and give answers about things on the island. Their attitude vs customers is indeed remarkable. Also they help with good and cheap food location recommendations, pretty cheap laundry service etc. There is a shuttle (golf cart) which can shorten the time to the main street to 2 minutes. Location is pretty close to everything (10mins walk to the main street) but it is somehow secluded, it’s pretty quiet. The beach is literally there, it’s the private beach of the hotel, and you don’t have to worry about beach towels and other beach stuff and accessories, there is even a bag for the beach in the room. The breakfast is not included but they can make some really good sandwiches. Well overall this might be somehow a bit pricey compared to other locations, but it’s kinda worth it - location, staff and new bungalows. For food indeed Good Luck is a good price/ quality ratio, Tom Yum is great here. For cocktails search for Kim’s bar (nearby the first 7eleven). One day book a boat and stay 5-6 hrs on the Koh Wai beach.

What an excellent resort on a more quiet beach. Located just a few minutes from the ferry and a 10 minute motorbike ride away from the main tourist area. This is a resort for those that look for the facilities of a resort, but don't want to be in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of a major tourist destination. A very nice restaurant with excellent personnel, a large swimming pool, many other facilities like canoes, supping, motorbike rental (they bring the bike to the resort and pick it up. So convenient.) Above all a very relaxed atmosphere with attention to details. They take care of literally all your needs. I tested it by having a little medical mishap. The way the owner and the staff took care of me was exemplary. Nothing was too much. Even my extended stay at the resort and assistance in changing reservations was handled in such a professional manner. I will definitely return to Sunrise Beach Resort and can recommend it to you.

Perfect small boutique style location at the beach, with nice bungalows situated around a stunning swimming pool. We spend 4 nights with our 2x young kids. The beach is rather quiet and provides easy access for young kids. Although the sand may not be as stunning as on the other (west) side of Ko Chang, we loved this (east) side way better, as you are off the beaten track. The owner Simon and his staff do everything to make you feel welcome, and arranged even our 5,5h transfer from BKK airport to the hotel, at more than reasonable price. This was a perfect start for our 3 month trip to SEA for us.

Serenity Resort Koh Chang is situated in Ko Chang, 1.5 km from Centrepoint Ferry. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and communal pool that overlooks the sea.

Wonderful situation, far enough from the noisy bustle of the town. Serene and tranquil bay, perfect for a bit of canoeing. The food was really delicious, and we enjoyed the happy hour cocktails. Our villa was situated right on the beach between the pool and the restaurant, but remained quiet and peaceful.

The staff makes it all!!! Without an excellent staff you don't go anywhere. Here they were friendly and very service minded. The beds were excellent.
