Everything was just right — the clean room, the super comfy bed, and the incredible view. The beach is only steps away and stretches out in a peaceful 180-degree curve — perfect for swimming and paddleboarding. The food in the taverna downstairs was fresh, local, and served on a beautiful sea-view terrace covered in a green shade. This is probably one of the quieter, calmer parts of Samothraki, south-facing, with the mountains behind you and the sea right in front. It’s a great base to explore the island from, or you can just stay put and not move — just pop down to the taverna or to the beach. There’s a really relaxed, welcoming feel to the whole place. Giorgos and Pelagia are super hospitable and clearly love what they do — they’re kind, thoughtful, and take great care of everything. They’re always around if you need anything - just talk to them. Giorgos even took us out in his fishing boat to see places on the island we’d never have discovered on our own. It just all adds to the sense that you’re somewhere special.
