I had a dorm all by myself with an ensuite bathroom. Staff was helpful. Easy to relax, with a plunge pool too. The restaurant was excellent and not expensive. Easy to take a cheap boat to Flores island.

It was recently completely renovated and it is starting again after it had closed down during COVID. All the beds and linens were new and the place was very clean. The owner and Don Mario were super welcoming and flexible with my arrival and departure time, allowing me to stay a lot longer to accommodate my bus schedule. I spent a chill day sunbathing and swimming and slowly exploring the restaurants around for the meals. There are boats continuously connecting San Miguel to Flores so you don't miss out on what the island has to offer, but you have very resting sleep.

Mundo Maya International Airport is 20 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. I don’t lie if I say, it was one of my best stays. The owner of the property is an amazing, kind and helpful guy. Anything I needed, he was always willing to help, hairdryer, boiling water, extra towels etc. He was always on time to pick us up by the boat and it was super easy to communicate with him during the way about pick up time.
