Set in Vík and only 1 km from Reynisfjara Beach, Prestshús 2 Guesthouse offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. It is situated 33 km from Skogafoss Waterfall and features a shared kitchen. Guests can make use of the picnic area or the barbecue, or enjoy views of the mountain and inner courtyard. Such a lovely place. The room and kitchen are spotlessly clean. Einar and Ragga took the time to show us their sheep and horses. Their three dogs are so cute and friendly. We spent the evening playing with them while watching the sunset.

Every room has a patio with garden views. We were taken back by the pristine cleanliness of the place, how well equipped the kitchen were. Spotless toilets, very cozy home and environment, comfortable beds/pillows/mattresses, sofa bed that opens up to a proper mattress all make this place a very comforting rest for the night. There's a 15 minutes gravel road to drive there which was wide, pothole-free, and no traffic in any direction making it very easy and quick drive to the place. It is in a middle of a wide open plain field which means perfect location free of light pollution. I can't find a thing to be at fault with the place. Internet speed wasn't the fastest but more than adequate for YouTube and browsing the web. No complains though.

The facilities and kitchen were very clean and the amenities, including the barn were great and cozy. We loved the heated mattress and overall vibe of the tent! The hostess was nice and helpful as well. Would recommend!

My family and I recently had a wonderful stay at Guðrún’s place in Vik. The location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to local attractions. The host was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. They even provided homemade waffle mix, jam and cheese, which were absolutely delicious and a lovely touch. The property was spotless and very well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything needed for cooking. The furnishings were tasteful and cozy, making the space feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend Guðrún’s place for anyone visiting Vik!
