Exceptionally good condition of everything from rooms to toilets. Fantastic owner, fantastic location. Host even made a tour to next farm to let us see the animals who were super cute. Offering quiet street views, Arctic Exclusive Ranch in Kirkjubæjarklaustur offers accommodation, a garden and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Every room has a patio with garden views. We were taken back by the pristine cleanliness of the place, how well equipped the kitchen were. Spotless toilets, very cozy home and environment, comfortable beds/pillows/mattresses, sofa bed that opens up to a proper mattress all make this place a very comforting rest for the night. There's a 15 minutes gravel road to drive there which was wide, pothole-free, and no traffic in any direction making it very easy and quick drive to the place. It is in a middle of a wide open plain field which means perfect location free of light pollution. I can't find a thing to be at fault with the place. Internet speed wasn't the fastest but more than adequate for YouTube and browsing the web. No complains though.

Featuring a lounge and views toward Eyjafjallajökull, Umi Hotel is located at the foot the famous volcano in South Iceland. It features a terrace and views of the sea. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Vik is 41 km away. We stayed at Umi Hotel in Skógar for two nights as part of my birthday celebrations. The room was spacious, luxurious, and offered an incredible view of the surrounding landscape. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant both nights; the food and service were exceptional. The lounge provided a relaxing atmosphere with great service and phenomenal decor. Everything was well-maintained and clean, contributing to a comfortable and relaxing stay. The private beach was incredible, especially near sunset. The location was close to several points of interest, including Skógafoss waterfall and the Eyjafjallajökull Visitor Centre. The sauna was absolutely incredible; we were fortunate to have it to ourselves, and the pastoral view from the glass wall was breathtaking.

From the moment me arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Gudrun made some awesome recommendations of places to have dinner and to visit the awesome surroundings. She also made for us some cheese and waffles for breakfast, that were amazing. The house was nicely decorated. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils (it was well-equipped). The bathroom had soap that smelled very nice. The beds were comfortable. I would really recommend this place to stay if you’re planning to go to Iceland.
