Simply put, this is a truly magnificent place to stay in Maldives and there’s hardly anything one can compliant about. We visited The Residence in February, and it has been a fabulous experience. The island is conveniently located within a short boat ride from the local airport of Koodoo but at the same time warrants a feeling that you’re in a secluded paradise hideaway. It’s large enough so that you never feel it’s crowded and at the same time small enough to get from one end to another within a few-minutes bike ride (well-maintained bikes are provided complimentary for each villa). Beaches are beautiful with powder like sand, clean (though we’ve occasionally seen some debris) and the whole island enjoys lush greenery with hundreds of palm trees providing much desired shade and the jungle-like experience. The west side of the island seems a bit prettier due to spectacular green-blue shades of water; the east side of the island has seagrass at the bed which although very much needed to protect local ecosystems provides less spectacular water colours. The ability to go to the adjacent island via the wooden bridge connecting them is really nice and you can enjoy the sun at the sand bar located in between. The staff has been extremely nice and helpful, from the moment we’ve been taken over at the Male airport, through the journey to the island, at the reception, restaurants, water sports centre and everywhere else, we’ve always felt well taken care of. The villas are clean, extremely spacious (bathroom area is enormous), well maintained and equipped. Beds are comfortable, there’s plenty of seating area, AC and Wi-Fi work well, mini fridge is restocked every day. Again, the lush greenery separating villas in a very natural way provides privacy and shade, and most importantly the sea view is not obstructed. The private pool is amazing and provide the opportunity to cool off in the heat of the sun, at 1.

Nous avons pris un pilotis sur l’eau avec mon mari pour notre lune de miel et c’était magnifique. Tout le personnel sans exception est formidable et très serviable, vraiment rien à dire ! Tout est propre et les 2 îles sont incroyables.

Situé à Kondey, l’établissement Kondey Villas comprend une piscine extérieure, un jardin, une plage privée et un restaurant. Il comprend des chambres familiales et une terrasse bien exposée. This small boutique hotel is very new, and the rooms are furnished in a way that you cannot find in any of the local islands. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. If you are looking for a small local island experience and see another point of view of the Maldives it is really great. We combined this with a couple days of resort experience and it was perfect for us. The rooms are large and and very comfy. There is a small pool right outside of your room.

Owner Abdull is very helpful and take care for us. He arranged for us cheap return flights from Male-Koddoo then speedboat to this beautiful island Kondey. Food is very fresh and delucious. Organized trips are for good price and offers lots of variations - for example - snorkeling trips, diving, night/day fishing, sunset piknik, desert island trip.. and more. Suncoral guest house is very clean and roomservice is everyday. AC works quietly and perfectly. Bed is very comfortable. I enjoyed stay and will return again :) I traveled lots of places in Maldives and i can say that in this island is still beautiful nature, not destroyed by mass tourism. I recommend it for people who like beautiful nature full of life.

Mercure Maldives Kooddoo is an adult-only resort with 69 villas available in 6 different categories. Everything was perfect... my first, but certainly not the last!!! I decided to travel at the very last minute and I must say that reservation team has been super helpful ie with the domestic flight, upon arrival to Malé, at the lounge... When in the hotel, it was just like a dream!! All was amazing... looking forward to returning there soon!!!

In my opinion, this is the best place on earth to relax and disconnect from the craziness of everyday life. This is also the only resort in the Maldives that I have no hesitation returning to. The staff, the food and the facilities are fabulous, but the best thing about this place is the house reef with its beautiful marine life. Nothing beats swimming with and amongst the beautiful fish and countless other sea creatures. You can't experience that in places offering just a blue lagoon. The water is crystal clear when the weather is good, the sand is soft, and you are not stepping - and shouldn't anyway - on any corals. You have to swim a bit to get to them. The staff at the restaurant are lovely and very happy to accommodate any special requests guests might have, but quite frankly, I doubt they have to do it often as the variety of dishes offered is plentiful and very well prepared. I love staying at this resort and will be heading there again in a few days' time. I can hardly wait! I highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the Maldives and have the best experience possible.

Le Pullman Maldives Maamutaa est un havre de paix tout compris situé dans l'atoll Gaafu Alifu. Ce complexe de luxe cinq étoiles s'étend sur 18 hectares de verdure avec 122 villas. The location was simply stunning! The room was super clean and absolutely comfortable. Although there were other guests, it felt so private, as we were the only people on the island. Even without snorkelling, you can see so much marine life while out and about, including shark, stingrays, eagle rays and turtles. The entire complex was well maintained. The food was of great quality, and the staff was kind and ready to help. This property is true paradise!
