The place was spacious and the bed was comfortable The views are amazing, especially at sunset. It’s a great spot to look at the stars The dinner tasted good and well presented We saw some oryx drinking in the area, which was memorable We were proposed to get a packed breakfast as we left early in the morning, which was very much appreciated Theo at the reception was helpful, friendly and professional

WE WERE LUCKY TO HAVE THE LAST BUNGALOW OF THE RAW THE VIEW ALL AROUND IS FANTASTIC FOR SUNRISE AND SUNSET BREAKFAST BUFFET AND DINER BUFFET AT THE SOSSUSVLEI LODGE ARE GREAT!

I always wanted to stay in a place were I was alone, could see into the future, quietness is exceptional, just what we want, would like to stay here for at least 2-3 nights. This was a stop over on way to Windhoek. When we arrived we went for a loooong walk, saw Oryx, Mountain Zebra. Sunset was one for a calender. Room was great and comfortable. Beautiful spacious shower. Solar geyser & electricity. One for my Bucket list. Kettle and coffee and camp fridge, safe. 3 single beds. Really wonderful.

Desert Hills Lodge is a great choice to visit Deavlei, although its a half hour drive to reach the gate of Sossuslvlei. The rooms had breathtaking views especially during the sunset. Luxurious bathroom and comfy bedroom promising a top notch stay.

We loved the vibe at Desert quiver camp. We loved the design of the common area (pool and bar) built in front of the rocks in the middle of the desert. The cabins were spacious, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed relaxing during the heat of the day by the pool and the bar, where you can also enjoy the sunset right in front of the pool. No food available at the lodge but you can order groceries to do your own barbecue or head to Sossuvlei lodge which is just 5 minutes drive away for excellent dinner buffets in their outdoor restaurant.
