Hotel Alexander is only 200 metres from the beach in Noordwijk aan Zee. It includes free WiFi and the Alexander Beach Club with a panoramic sea-view terrace. Modern, stylish room. Very comfortable bed. We even had a huge balcony to watch the Bloemencorso parade from.

This is a beautiful property, well located near the centre of the town and on the waterfront. The house is themed on the history of a previous Röder and some fascinating documents and pictures are on display. Even the rooms are named after other members of the family, which is a nice touch. The host was amazing and couldn't do enough, being particularly helpful in securing our e-bikes in his garage. Breakfast was wonderful and eaten at a communal table with other guests, which is fully in keeping with the ambiance of the house and was most enjoyable.

Thoughtful, caring, with a lot of attention to detail; just true hosts. Beds - comfy, perfect for a good sleep. Bathroom - good shower, good lighting, fluffy and good quality towels. Kitchen - everything that is needed and then some, coffee machine was putting a smile onto our faces in the morning. Entertainment - 2 tvs, Netflix, many language tv stations. Privacy - second to none.

You really have everything if you want to cook or do some washing. What we especially liked was the large living room with the kitchen. And you can rent bicycles, there are six of them. The surrounding of the house is distinctly pleasant, you can also use the garden - in the company of hens and sheep. There were only three of us, but I can imagine a much larger group to have an excellent time in this property. And last but not least - Paulette is a fantastic host.

The room was WAY nicer that I expected, backing onto a quiet canal and a church, right in the heart of Wassenaar. I am an insomniac so I sleep badly and not for long. The bed was so comfortable, I slept ten hours straight! I want to move in! I wish I were staying longer. So comfortable and clean and safe. This is a lovely, family-run place. Great for anyone visiting friends or companies in Wassenaar, who want a place of their own to chill. Shops and Centre a six minute walk away. I cannot say how wonderful it was to sleep. And, there are two duvets on the bed so your partner can sausage roll in one and not leave you uncovered. And breakfast is included!!
