The car park is free, check in was quick and the staff was very friendly and nice. The room we got was overlooking the fjord. It was nice size and the bed was very comfortable. We also had a little balcony. The shower had good pressure and hot water quickly. They have a restaurant on site serving food all day, we had breakfast (included) and dinner (paid) and both were very good. There is some renovation going on to improve the place and it did not bother us at all. Would stay again any time, it was awesome!

All guest rooms feature traditional décor and a private bathroom with shower. This is the most charming hotel we stayed in during our 3-week trip. The minute you get in the door you feel like you're in a museum that takes you back in time. We had gotten a message that we could book a table to dinner but because we were riding all day we didn't think we would get to the hotel in time for dinner. From other guests we heard that the dinner was lovely so we are a bit sad we missed out on this. Breakfast buffet was also nice. Make sure you wonder through all the different rooms and enjoy the decor.
