This place is absolutely amazing and I regret we only had short stay. I would definitely come back for longer relaxed holiday. We got a fully equipped small cottage - separate bedroom, bathroom and living space with modern kitchen equipment. Furnishing is stylish and looks new. Outside you can sit on the terrace and enjoy view of the beautiful horses. You are in the middle of nature. By short walk you get to a private beach on the lake - it is on the rocks, so maybe not for small children to play alone- but absolutely beautiful to sit, relax, you can do BBQ, swim. The nearest small town is 15 min drive where you have large supermarket and several restaurants. The hostess was friendly, came to welcome us and show everything.

The property and the room was beautifully renovated, homely and clean. The instructions given by the host were clear and timely. The value for money was very good. The friendly host Alfred was a young entrepreneur who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Alfred was also very open to suggestions of tips and improvements which he put in place immediately. The spacious kitchen was free to use with all the necessary utensils and we could comfortly have dinner at the property without having to go out to restaurants each night. Guests are free to store private food in the fridge. Overall a very pleasant stay that we highly recommend.

The ladies at the reception were super nice. We got a cabin right in front of the lake so the view was wonderful. The service house with toilets and showers was CLEAN all the time. We tried different camapsites in the area and this was the best and the cleanest. Beds are very comfy!

Situated 100 metres from Bomstadbaden Beach by Lake Vänern, this resort offers cottages with a private terrace and a kitchenette. Karlstad city centre is 10 km away. The place where we stayed was lovely and the rooms were nice and warm in the freezing 🥶 cold weather, clean and had everything we needed.
