Gajapuri, which means "Elephant's Empire" in Sanskrit, offers a luxurious tropical experience with its spa and outdoor spa bath. Its spacious air-conditioned wooden cottages have free internet and flat-screen TVs. The property has an outdoor pool with a wooden sun deck, as well as a path to the beachfront. This is the second time I have stayed here. This trip I initially planned to stay for six days for a combined writing retreat/holiday but ended up staying three extra days. I kind of want to live there. It's very peaceful.

Activities such as fishing, snorkelling, canoeing can be enjoyed in the surroundings, and guests can relax along the beachfront. Everything was amazing! The stuff did everything to make our stay great.. The restaurant was outstanding , having a beach gym was great and the beach was beautiful! You can rent a car from the hotel in reasonable price with no hassle.. It was hard to leave.. Thank you Molly and the staff!

At a 5 minutes walk through a garden area with a Japanese restaurant in a romantic setting, you arrive at Klong Prao beach where there are relaxing cocktail bars and restaurants, swim and watch the sunset. The main road offers many restaurants, both delicious streetfood and other options incl. Italian, Korean and Greek. There is a Buddhist Temple across the Seven Eleven. Baan Rim Klong offers the perfect central location to explore Koh Chang by scooter, which Bris rents at a very reasonable price. The Staff is very helpful and extremely kind. Come here. And you’ll never want to leave. In all my travels so far. This one is hard to beat. From arriving and being greeted like family. The cold water and fruit plate as soon as you get there. To the MOST amazing bed! Honestly it’s out of this world. Spotlessly clean all the time. Sitting on the verandah watching the soaring eagles every morning while eating breakfast. It’s a different world down on the pier. Literally the most peaceful place on the island. Book it. You won’t regret it x

Wonderful place to stay! 3 min. walk to the beach. Nice garden, nice staff. You can use their kitchen and hot water is always there for you if you need a cup of coffe/the. A couple of Bungalow houses with AC and then a few bungalows "in line" with fan. For example if you are a family that need two rooms they could be perfect. You can also get your laundry done there. Lovely stay, wanted to stay longer but they were fully booked.
