Carmel La Playa is 4 minutes’ walk from the beach. Monterey Airport is 5 miles away. the location is great. A couple blocks from the Center and a couple of blocks from the beach. The room and bathroom were beautiful and the sea views are gorgeous. The garden offers a lot of places to sit and relax and the pool is heated. The shower had really good pressure. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic. Everything was very clean.

This Capitola hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from central Santa Cruz and New Brighton State Beach. It features an outdoor pool, and spacious suites with 32-inch flat-screen TVs and an iPod docking station. The room was very comfortable and clean with ample space--very good value for the money, especially when compared to some of the other places in the area. We had a separate area to relax in, with a sofa and additional TV. We very much enjoyed our stay. It was only one night but super comfortable.

Views of the ocean or the surrounding dunes are also available. Such a nice place. It was recently remodeled. Really nice place to relax. We took our dog since it’s a pet friendly resort.
